Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about renting a roll-off dumpster in the Mid-Atlantic. If you don’t see your question answered below, please call our local dispatch team for immediate assistance.

👥 Who rents a dumpster?

When it comes to renting a roll-off container, we serve everyone! Most of our Mid-Atlantic customers are “Do it Yourself” homeowners, real estate agents, commercial businesses, property managers, and independent contractors managing local renovations.

📏 What size dumpster will I need?

Size depends on your project. We offer 10, 15, 20, and 30-yard dumpsters. A 10-yard is great for heavy dirt, while a 20 or 30-yard is ideal for large home renovations. Call our office, and our friendly customer service representatives will be happy to assist in your decision-making.

💰 What’s included in the price?

100% pricing transparency is the way we do business. Our competitive flat-rate includes: Delivery, Pickup, the Rental Period, and Disposal up to your specified weight allowance. You will never see hidden delivery charges, fuel surcharges, or environmental fees.

💵 What is the cost of a Dumpster Rental?

The cost is determined by the size of the dumpster and your delivery destination (whether in MD, DC, VA, PA, or DE). The size and weight of the debris also factor in. Contact us for a transparent, all-inclusive quote tailored to your local market.

⚖️ How much trash will you haul off for me?

Weight limits are always discussed by our team at the time of rental. Your base price covers a designated tonnage. Anything over the allowable tonnage is charged an overage fee per additional ton (which varies by market). We help you choose the right size to avoid overages.

🏗️ How high am I able to load my dumpster?

A tarp is always used during transport. You must keep your load flat and spread the weight evenly. Do not load material above the top rails. If the dumpster is unsafe to drive due to improper loading, you will have to adjust it, and a trip charge may be added.

🚫 What kind of trash can we dispose of?

We handle demolition, cleanout, and home improvement debris. However, per EPA rules, we CANNOT accept: biohazardous/medical waste, liquids, freon, solvents, chemicals, wet paint, batteries, or propane tanks. Ask us about proper disposal for these items.

🤝 What do I get when renting from We Got Dumpsters?

Our rental agreement ensures precise delivery to your home, office, or construction site. It includes your base rental period and disposal up to the designated weight limits. You also get unparalleled customer service and the flexibility to extend the rental for an added fee.

📄 Can we locate the dumpster on the street?

Rules, regulations, and permit requirements vary by municipality (especially between DC, MD, and VA) regarding placement on public rights-of-way. We Got Dumpsters is not responsible for obtaining permits; customers must secure any necessary local permits beforehand.

🛑 Will a dumpster damage my landscaping or driveway?

Regardless of safeguards, heavy trucks and loaded containers pose a risk of surface depression. These damages can be triggered by poor surface surroundings near the site. We Got Dumpsters is not financially responsible for damages produced by standard operational procedures.

📅 Is it beneficial to order in advance?

Yes! To ensure availability, please book days in advance. Mondays and Fridays are our busiest days. If we receive your order by 12:00 PM, we can typically deliver your roll-off dumpster the following business day or sooner.
